If your life changes, so can your car. After your contract period ends, simply switch to a new model with the FINN car subscription. Thanks to short delivery times, your desired model will be at your door within a few weeks, and like a flat rate, the fixed monthly fee already includes all costs. You only need to fuel or charge your new (electric) car yourself.

Have you found your dream car among the many brands and new models in the FINN car subscription? You determine how long you want to drive your new car and choose your mileage package. If you meet the requirements to sign up for a FINN car subscription, you just need to upload your driver's license, and with a few clicks, your car is ordered. The requirements are:

• You have held a Class B (old Class 3) driver's license continuously for at least two years.
• The minimum age to sign up for a car subscription is 18 years. Drivers under 23 can subscribe to vehicles with a performance of up to 150 kW or 204 HP. Drivers over 75 cannot sign up for a FINN car subscription.
• You possess an EU-valid driver's license that is valid for the entire subscription period.
• You have a valid identification document.
• You have a registered address in Germany.
• During the ordering process, you complete the verification with your documents (driver's license and ID card).

If you pass the credit check, you become a FINN car subscriber – and shortly after, a nearly new car that matches the one you selected on the website or in the FINN app will be waiting for you. We deliver your car nationwide on your desired date. The delivery fee is €249 for the first booking. For subsequent bookings during your current subscription, you save the delivery fee.

After that, you benefit from an all-inclusive package that covers the following points:

The duration of your subscription doesn't begin on the day you sign the contract but only when the vehicle is actually delivered to your doorstep. Unlike most leasing offers, FINN takes care of insurance, registration, repairs, maintenance, and roadside assistance.

The biggest difference between a car subscription and leasing or long-term rental is the contract duration. Leasing offers are based on a long-term, fixed contract with a duration of up to five years. Rentals typically have a maximum duration that can range from a few weeks to several months. If you need your car longer or don't want to commit for years, you have a problem – unless you choose a car subscription. Here, you drive your favorite model for as long as you want, and you determine the duration. After the subscription ends, you can switch to another FINN car or simply cancel.

Yes, as a FINN subscriber, you can add additional drivers to your FINN car subscription at any time and free of charge. Registration is done through your customer account. Under the menu item “My Drivers,” you simply upload the front and back of the respective driver’s license. Please note that only immediate family members, spouses, and members of your household can be registered, although exceptions may be granted in rare cases. Additional drivers must have held a Class B (old Class 3) driver’s license continuously for at least two years and possess an EU-valid driver’s license for the duration of the subscription. Otherwise, the same requirements apply as for the contract holder.

Your insurance coverage includes both liability insurance and partial and full comprehensive insurance. The deductible is contractually agreed upon but is capped at a maximum of 500 euros per damage event for partial comprehensive coverage and 1000 euros per damage event for full comprehensive coverage. Motor vehicle liability insurance is legally required in Germany and covers damages you cause in road traffic. The coverage amount is 100 million euros per incident.

About four weeks before your subscription ends, you will receive an email reminding you to select your preferred return option in the customer portal. As your car subscription provider, FINN ensures that returning your vehicle is just as easy and straightforward as starting your subscription. You have two options: either have your car picked up at your home for a one-time fee or return it at no additional cost to a FINN partner location. In the case of a seamless follow-up subscription, the pickup fee is waived, as the new and old cars are simply exchanged at your doorstep. 

Normal wear and tear costs are included in your monthly rate. However, if the appraiser finds dents that need to be removed, scratches that need to be painted, or body parts that need to be repaired, FINN will charge you for those. For damages that can be covered by comprehensive insurance, a maximum deductible of 1000 euros per incident applies.
